Re-Defining Success and Creating Purpose

The way we define success in our world often has people moving towards false ideas, feeling unnecessary pressure to be something they are not. And, mostly, it freezes people up. They are stuck. This speech will educate and inspire to redefine success in a way that will propel people forward rather than hold them back. Returning to an original meanings of “success” we can make a mental shift to gain greater clarity, and begin the process of day to day living that ensures you are successful, happy, have purpose and are less fretful. Some group participation.


Taking the Dream Out of the Box

Everyone has a dream locked away in their heart that they will not tell anyone about. When it is truly achievable and time slips by with fear keeping that dream in the box, it can be a place people feel great regret. Kathrin will show participants that it does not take as much courage as they thought to take the dream out of the box. This speech will inspire participants into the first steps of taking the dream out of the box. Can also be done workshop style and can be customized for groups, but all workshops will be facilitated to be a safe and supportive environment where the group will help each other on the next step to achieve their dream, or be happy with any new paths that come out of the process.

From Survival to Thrival, the workshop, touches on many ideas brought up in the book From Survival to Thrival. It will challenge people’s very basic concepts of success, goal-setting, focus, self-esteem, happiness, health in order to redefine them in a way that will help them move through life with more success and greater ease. A basic concept is to build self-esteem and start with small changes that make a huge difference.


How to Win at the Blame Game by Losing

Individuals, departments, and whole organizations get caught up in the habit of pointing fingers and blaming. People often want to blame something (the economy), someone, another department, management, your upbringing, poor choices and it goes on and on. This speech teaches people how to avoid the trap of The Blame Game and win it by choosing another way and leaving the game behind. This speech empowers people with individual accountability without choosing blame which strenghtens relationships and maximizes everyone's ability to get things done and work better within any world they live in.

From Survival to Thrival, the workshop, touches on many ideas brought up in the book From Survival to Thrival. It will challenge people’s very basic concepts of success, goal-setting, focus, self-esteem, happiness, health in order to redefine them in a way that will help them move through life with more success and greater ease. A basic concept is to build self-esteem and start with small changes that make a huge difference.


Firing on All Cylinders

Firing on All Cylinders will make participants realize exactly how resourceful they truly are. This workshop puts equal emphasis on internal resources - what each of us has uniquely inside us to share - as it does to understanding and listing all your external resources that you are not using to full capacity. Participants see that when both internal and external resources are combined and aligned, and we are “firing on all cylinders” we can be a juggernaut of empowerment towards our goals.


Health and Happiness

Survival to Thrival defines success most simply as optimum health and happiness. Participants for this workshop will do exercises on health and happiness and realize that there should be lots of crossover. This workshop can be playful and very active, as well as waking you up to some old new holistic ideas that can optimize your health and happiness.


Your Attitude, Your Everything

Do you control your attitude, or does your attitude control you?

This workshop helps people determine what kind of attitudes, values and personal mythologies they hold. Are there mental blocks, “victim mentality” and blame lurking within that is holding you back? If so, what can you do about it? It may be much simpler than you thought. We will give you some revealing exercises to show you where you are now, what you may want to consider changing, and how to do that.


Putting Fear in Reverse Gear

The famous quote from Franklin D. Roosevelt that “There is nothing to fear, but fear itself” is all very well and good but how do you get beyond those fears that are freezing you from doing more? This workshop will look at both fears and procrastination and what are behind them, and what can help you move forward. Once you know the way you will not even fear “fear itself.” This workshop can be made longer and more intense when combined with the program Putting Off Procrastination.


Self Esteem: The Most Important Step of All

What is the difference between self-esteem and self confidence? Self esteem is often a misunderstood concept, but is vital for a person’s health and happiness. How can you determine where you may need to revisit your own self-esteem? What happens automatically when you give yourself the greatest gift of all: higher self esteem. The importance of high self esteem will be celebrated, and participants will support each other towards the gifts of greater self esteem, and leave with life changing habits that will make a significant difference in their whole lives.


Putting Off Procrastination

Putting Off Procrastination is NOT simply a workshop on time management and "Just Do It" attitudes. What is behind procrastination is what is key. Procrastination is a function of well worn habits inextricably linked to lack of awareness, self-esteem and what makes up what we call your procrastination style. This class requires a brief assessment to determine your major styles, in-depth understanding of the syles, exercises for awareness and self esteem that are mutually supporting.
